The trail is long and spectacular due to the variety of the landscape and to the significant difference in altitude. Starting in an area with deciduous and coniferous forests, the trail goes up gently towards the Arpaş Valley, The Podragul Peak and up to the Turnuri Chalet. Take a short break then, if you are not too tired, continue your climbing. Gradually, the landscape changes and forests are replaced by steep, massive rock formations. You will go across whirling streams, you will stroll past wild peaks. On your route, you will discover various species of wild plants and on the highest summits you may see a chamois leaping.
The last destination of the day is the Podragu Chalet but if you are not too tired goo to the lake with the similar name - one last effort to be rewarded with a magnificent landscape!
The trail is of moderate difficulty, but it is spectacular due to the high altitude difference and to the landscape which suffers a radical change from one alpine floor to the next.
