For these delicious donuts we need 1 kg of flour, 400 ml of milk, 3 eggs, 4 egg yolks, 60 g of sugar, 60 g of yeast, 15 table spoons of melted butter and 1 teaspoon of salt.
Mix the ingredients till you get a soft dough. Leave the dough to rest for ½ hour in a warm place, then spread it into a layer which should have the approximate thickness of your thumb. With a round-shaped object (a glass), make donut shapes. Leave them to rest for another 15 minutes then fry them in hot oil. Donuts must have a whitish ring all around them. In the end spread powdered sugar over them. According to the tradition, the lole give away donuts to the passers-by during their parade.
