Crafts, traditional occupations, typical clothing, customs and traditions, peasant interiors, house items… the daily life of the locals from Răşinari is presented by the ethnographical museum in an exhibition with over 1500 objects of ethnography and folk art.
A very special element of attraction is the glazed tiles stove made in Chirpăr in 1789. Also, the museum unveils the resin collection technique, a local occupation since ancient times; in fact, the word resin is also at the origin of the commune’s name.
