TRANSFĂGĂRĂȘAN CHALLENGE is an exciting event, for amateur riders, within the Sibiu Cycling Tour, a pre-race before the pros’ competition.

The Transfăgărășan Challenge is an international sporting event for amateur cyclists, held annually on the famous Transfăgărășan Road, considered one of the most spectacular mountain routes in the world. The event combines endurance sport with breathtaking alpine scenery, offering participants an authentic experience in the heart of the Carpathians. Each year, the competition attracts participants from over 20 countries and promotes an active lifestyle, responsible tourism, and the discovery of the wild nature of southern Transylvania.
