Secret Garden: the Oriental Wallpaper from Brukenthal Palace

The exhibition aims at detailing the graphic elements depicted on the wallpaper from the oriental rooms in Brukenthal Palace in terms of species of exotic plants, birds and insects.
Starting with their artistic and biological description, the exhibition includes the corresponding pieces from the collections of the Museum of Natural History.
Also, the fantastic atmosphere illustrated by the wallpaper will be supported the exhibition’s narrative by identifying the oriental myths that refer to the represented species.
