Thematically, the museum focuses on the ethnographic particularities of the whole Hârtibaci Valley by illustrating the daily life of Romanians, Saxons and Hungarians from this region.
The museum collection includes more than 5000 items from the most varied fields: ethnography, archaeology, history, decorative arts, photography but its uniqueness is given by the collection dedicated to the custom of The Escape of the Lole and by the one of traditional costumes.
